Always move email from this sender
Right-click an email (or open More) and choose Always move email from this sender to..., then pick the folder. A rule is made, and Mail offers to move the emails from that sender already in the folder.

Three free rules, one-click rules from a sender, unlimited rules with Mail Pro, and blocking a sender.
Three rules are free, and blocking senders is free with no limit. Mail Pro has unlimited rules.
Right-click an email (or open More) and choose Always move email from this sender to..., then pick the folder. A rule is made, and Mail offers to move the emails from that sender already in the folder.
Rules sort mail as it arrives. Settings > Rules > New rule: choose when it runs (from, to, subject or anywhere contains, or doesn't contain, some words - all of the conditions or any of them, and only emails with attachments if you like) and what it does: move it to a folder, mark it read, flag it, archive it, delete it, and don't run any more rules on it.
Three rules are free. Mail Pro has no limit. If Pro ends, the first three keep running and the others are kept, paused, until Pro is on again - nothing is deleted.
Block sender (in the right-click menu, More, or a look-alike warning) sends that address - or everyone at their domain - straight to Junk, with no notification. You can move the emails from them already in your inbox at the same time.
