Who we are

Metre2 is a small UK-based software team. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at support@metre2.co.uk.

What we collect

When you create a Metre2 account and use one of our apps, we collect:

• Account details - your name, email address and company name, used to sign you in and identify your account across every Metre2 app.
• Usage data - which features you use and when, app sessions, and basic device/OS information, used to understand how the apps are used and to fix problems.
• Feedback you send us - anything you submit through an in-app feedback prompt, sent to a real person on our team.
• Files you work with - documents, drawings or other project data you open in a Metre2 app are processed on your own device. We do not upload or store the contents of your project files on our servers.

Why we collect it

We use this data to:

• Provide and maintain your account across every Metre2 app you use.
• Respond to support requests and feedback.
• Understand product usage so we can prioritise fixes and improvements.
• Meet our legal and security obligations, including our Cyber Essentials certification requirements.

How long we keep it

We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your account details and usage history within a reasonable time, except where we're required to keep records for legal or accounting reasons.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of infrastructure providers (such as our cloud hosting provider) to run the service, who process data on our behalf under their own confidentiality and security terms. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Your rights

If you're in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK GDPR / GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@metre2.co.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps evolve. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
