Most Metre2 apps install through the Microsoft Store - the same built-in app store that comes with every copy of Windows. If you've never used it before, here's what it is and why it's the easiest, safest way to get software onto your PC.
Every app in the Store is scanned and signed before it's listed. There's no hunting for an installer on a random website and hoping it's genuine - the Store is the source, and Windows trusts it by default.
New versions install quietly in the background. You always end up with the latest release without downloading anything by hand or clicking through an updater.
Most Metre2 apps offer a free trial straight from their Store listing - no card details up front. If an app isn't for you, uninstalling it takes one click, the same way you'd remove any other Windows app.
