Metre2 Mail 1.2

A new look in light and dark, Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online work accounts, importing your old mail from .pst, .ost, .mbox and .eml files, pins, on-device AI and three free rules.

Free for everyone

• A new look: blueprint paper in light mode, deep navy in dark, with every email on clean white paper. Settings > Reading > Look: Match Windows, Light or Dark.
• A new app icon and Start tiles to match.
• Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online: work and school mailboxes - and Outlook.com - connect through Microsoft Graph, even where an organisation has switched IMAP off, with your Microsoft 365 categories.
• Import from .pst and .ost files: pick the folders you want and they arrive in matching folders. Calendar items and contacts are left out and counted.
• Import .mbox and .eml files too - one file, many, or a folder - with progress as it goes and duplicates skipped.
• Pin to top: press P, or the pin on any row, to keep an email above everything else.
• On-device AI: Summarise gives you the gist of a long conversation in a few bullets, worked out on your PC. Nothing leaves it.
• Rules are free for up to three, and one is a right-click away: "Always move email from this sender to...".
• Copy now takes up to 20,000 characters.
• Metre2 Mail now needs a 64-bit PC (x64 or Arm) - almost every Windows PC from the last ten years.

In Mail Pro

• Coloured categories: Urgent, Waiting, Invoice, Site or your own - press C, and see every email in a category in one click.
• On-device AI that drafts a reply from a few words ("say yes, Monday works") and translates emails into English, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Polish.
• As many rules as you like.

• Outlook.com and Hotmail: Sign in with Microsoft, on Microsoft's own page in your browser.
• Undo send: sent emails wait 5, 10 or 20 seconds, so you can take one back.
• One-click unsubscribe from newsletters and mailing lists.
• Copy code: sign-in codes get a button in the email and in the notification.
• Look-alike sender warnings, and Block sender (or everyone at a domain).
• Tracking tags are taken off links before they open.
• Open Mail when Windows starts, minimised.
• Keyboard shortcuts for everything - press ? to see them.

• Push email, conversations, rich text, attachments, drafts, signatures, search, notifications, light and dark, and offline reading and sending.
• Pictures from the internet blocked until you choose; passwords in Windows Credential Locker.

• Every account in one inbox, rules, templates and quick replies, send later, snooze, Add to Metre2 Calendar, and export to .mbox and .eml.
