How it works

Step by step

1

Add an event

Click + New Event or press N - or click an empty slot in Week or Day view, and drag down to set the start and end in one go.

2

Switch views

Day, Week, Timeline, Month and Agenda are along the top - or press 1 to 5. Week and Day shade your working hours; the Timeline opens at the start of your day.

3

Move and resize

Drag an event to another time or day. Drag its bottom edge to make it longer or shorter, in 15-minute steps. Ctrl+Z undoes it.

4

Repeat and stop

Make an event repeat daily, on weekdays, weekly or monthly, and give the series an end date when the job finishes.

5

Mark the milestones

Tick Milestone / deadline for a diamond marker, or All day with an end date to colour a span such as leave or a shutdown.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. All five views, projects, time tracking, templates, the site diary, iCal import and export and one linked calendar are free, in the Windows app and in your browser. Calendar Pro (a one-off £5.99) adds reminders, printable planners, Project Report, the AI assistant and themes.

Does it show UK bank holidays?

Yes - England and Wales bank holidays are worked out for every year and shown in every view. One-off holidays announced later (a coronation, say) aren't predictable, so they aren't included.

Can I use it with the keyboard?

Yes. N adds an event, T goes to today, the arrow keys move between periods and 1 to 5 switch views. All shortcuts.
