How buying Pro works

Upgrade in the app

Click Get Pro in Calendar's toolbar. The Microsoft Store handles the payment, using the payment method on your Microsoft account.

Try it first

Try every Pro feature free for 7 days, once per PC - no payment details, no account. It starts only when you choose it, and switches off by itself.

Pay once

£5.99 once, not a subscription. New Pro features in later versions come with the updates.

Every PC you use

Pro unlocks on any PC signed in to the same Microsoft account. Your diary stays on your PC.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get Calendar Pro?

Install Calendar free from the Microsoft Store, then click Get Pro in the toolbar or anything under Calendar Pro in the sidebar. The Microsoft Store takes the payment - there's no Metre2 account to make.

Can I try Pro first?

Yes. In the app choose "Try free for 7 days": every Pro feature, once per PC, with no payment details and no account. When the 7 days end, the Pro features lock again unless you buy Pro - your events, notes and everything else stay as they are.

Is it a subscription?

No. Calendar Pro is a one-off £5.99, bought once through the Microsoft Store. Updates are included.

Does it work on more than one PC?

Pro unlocks on any PC signed in to the same Microsoft account.

Is Pro in the browser edition?

No. The browser edition is free and stays free; Calendar Pro is in the Windows app, because reminders and the AI assistant need Windows.

Will Calendar always be free?

Yes. The five views, projects, time tracking, templates, day notes, the site diary, iCal, UK bank holidays and one linked calendar stay free, with no time limit.
