In Week or Day view, click on any empty area of the time grid to open a new event pre-filled with that time. Click and drag downwards to set both the start and end time in one motion.
In Month or Agenda view, double-click any empty part of a date (not on an existing event) to open a new event pre-filled with that day.
In Week view, drag any event block to a new time slot or day. For recurring events, a single drag creates an exception for that occurrence only.
In Week view, hover over an event to reveal a resize handle at the bottom edge. Drag it to extend or shorten the event. Snaps to 15-minute intervals.
After adding, editing, deleting, moving, or resizing an event, an Undo bar appears at the bottom of the screen. Press Ctrl+Z or click Undo to reverse the last change.
Click Edit on a recurring event and choose: This occurrence only (creates an exception) or All occurrences (edits the base series).
Same choice — delete just this one (skips that date) or delete the entire series.
When an event repeats (daily, weekdays, weekly or monthly), an End repeat date appears in the event form. Set it and the series stops after that date - leave it blank to repeat indefinitely.
Tick Milestone / deadline when creating an event. It renders as a ◆ diamond marker rather than a time block — visible in the all-day banner row in Week and Day views, and as a diamond chip in Month view.
England & Wales bank holidays are worked out for every year from 2015 to 2045 and shown automatically. They appear as a red banner in all views. They cannot be edited or deleted.
