Takeoff Studio Pro
Box one socket, light fitting or manhole and Takeoff Studio finds every match on the page, or on every calibrated page, and rings it for you to check. Accept, and the matches become an ordinary count you can edit.
Find symbol works on calibrated pages, so calibrate every page you want to search.
Choose Find on the toolbar and drag a box tightly round one example. Tick All calibrated pages to search the whole set, and Turned or Mirrored to catch symbols drawn the other way round.
Every match has a ring. Move the Sensitivity slider to see fewer or more matches, and click a ring to remove a wrong match (click again to put it back).
Name the count and choose Accept all. You get one count markup per page, in the Totals and the schedule like any other, and one Undo removes the lot.
