Takeoff Studio help

SchedulePRO

A tabular quantity schedule for reviewing, sorting, classifying, costing, and exporting takeoff rows.

The schedule is part of Takeoff Studio Pro. The Totals tab, free, adds up your measurements as you go.

Review rows

The schedule lists measured markups with page, name, type, status, trade package, tag, quantity, and cost information.

Edit inline

Markup name, review status, trade package, free-text tag, and rates can be edited directly in the schedule for fast QS cleanup.

Costs

Set rates on selected markups or directly in the schedule. Schedule, totals, CSV, true XLSX workbooks, reports, and marked PDF summaries include calculated cost.

Exports

Use schedule/export actions for CSV, Excel, quantity reports, and marked PDFs when the review is ready.

Row totals

Use Total rows by to group the schedule by name / tool, trade package, tag or page. Each group shows its total quantity and unit, and its cost. Different units are kept apart - metres are never added to square metres - so a group with both shows e.g. 12.00 m + 4.50 sq m. The CSV, Excel, report and PDF exports include the same total rows, and the Excel workbook adds a Row Totals sheet.

Send to BOQ

Send to BOQ makes an Excel workbook for the Excel import in Metre2 BOQ. Each schedule group becomes a bill section with one item per description, unit and rate, plus its drawing page reference. In BOQ: open the Excel import, click File and pick the workbook, click Map To Enquiry (start row 5), then Populate Grid and Use Items. The steps are also in the workbook's How to import sheet. Assembly items go in as items of their own.
