Navigate the model
Navigate the model with orbit, pan and zoom tools. Fit All recentres the camera around the loaded model so the view can recover after selecting objects, resizing the side panel or opening a model that appears off-screen.
- Use the home/view controls to return to predictable orientations.
- Display modes such as original, white, clay, x-ray, blueprint, warm and realistic change how the model reads visually.
- Theme switching changes the app chrome and viewer surroundings without changing the IFC data.
The right panel
The right panel holds the working tabs for model inspection, takeoff, BOQ, comparison and issues. It is fixed to the right of the viewer so commercial data stays available while you navigate the model.
- Drag the left edge of the panel to choose how much room is given to data versus the model.
- Press ] to reduce the panel to its minimum width, then press ] again to restore the previous width.
- The model view adjusts to the available space; use Fit All after major layout changes if the model needs recentering.
Measure
Measure the distance between two points on the model. The readout shows the straight distance, its X, Y and Z parts and the horizontal distance.
- Press M or the Measure button, then click two points on the model.
- Click again to start a new measurement.
- Press Esc or Measure again to stop.
