Revision compare

Part of BIM Explorer Pro. Compare is for revision review. Use it when a new IFC issue arrives and you need to understand whether scope, quantities or coordination context has changed.

  • Load the current or baseline model first.
  • Open Compare and choose the revised IFC as the comparison file.
  • Review the comparison before changing BOQ rows; this is the investigation step.
  • Use the result to decide whether BOQ quantities, linked IFC evidence or BCF issues need updating.
  • Export comparison context where it needs to be shared as part of a review record.

Exports

Part of BIM Explorer Pro. Exports produce shareable output from the current model review. They are designed to support commercial handoff, QA records and visual communication without forcing the user into one fixed report format.

  • CSV is useful for spreadsheet workflows and downstream estimating systems.
  • BOQ CSV, JSON and report exports include calculated totals and linked IFC evidence where rows have been captured from the model.
  • HTML reports and PNG snapshots are useful for review packs, comments and lightweight evidence.
