Layers, arrange, group and align

Everything on a page sits in a stack. The Layers tab lists it, top first.

Select items to see Bring forward, Send backward, Align, Group, Duplicate and Delete along the top.
Shift-click or drag a box around items to select several.
Group them with Ctrl+G so they move together.
Lock an item in the Item panel so it can't be moved by mistake.
