Site induction & compliance records

Site Induction Tracker

Track site inductions for every worker, visitor, subcontractor and delivery driver - and see exactly where coverage is dropping off with a per-site coverage funnel that shows who's still current and who needs re-inducting, at a glance.

Metre2 Site Induction Tracker showing the per-site coverage funnel

A per-site coverage funnel

One funnel per site: total people inducted, how many are still current, and how many were inducted in the last 30 days - a narrowing shape shows compliance drop-off immediately.

Four induction types

Worker, Visitor, Subcontractor and Delivery driver - every kind of person who might need a site induction before they're allowed on site.

Validity-driven expiry

Set a validity period in months per induction (12 months by default) - the valid-until date is calculated automatically, and status is worked out live against today.

Log an induction in one place

Person name, type, site, induction date, who delivered it and a validity period - one quick form, with every induction landing in a searchable table with a delete action.

A per-site breakdown

The Sites tab lists every site with people inducted plus current/expiring-soon/expired counts, sorted so the sites needing attention surface first.

Totals and a searchable history

The Summary tab totals inductions logged, current/expiring-soon/expired counts and inductions this week/month, alongside a full searchable induction history.

Copy summary or export HTML

Copy a plain-text summary of totals and the per-site breakdown to the clipboard, or export a standalone HTML file to keep or share.

Light/dark theme and rotating sample registers

Light/dark theme remembers your choice, and two rotating sample induction registers - each spanning several sites and a deliberate spread of current/expiring/expired records - let you explore the funnel before logging your own.

Site Induction Tracker, in practice

Frequently asked questions

What does the per-site coverage funnel actually show?

One funnel per site: how many people have been inducted there in total, how many of those are still current (not yet expired), and how many were inducted in the last 30 days. Bar widths are scaled to the site's own total, so a slim second bar shows compliance drop-off at that site immediately, without digging through a table.

What induction types are covered?

A fixed set - Worker, Visitor, Subcontractor and Delivery driver - covering everyone who might need a site induction before they're allowed on site.

How is the validity/expiry date calculated?

Each induction has a validity period in months that you set (12 months by default, since many site inductions are valid for a year before needing renewal, for example on remobilisation). The valid-until date is simply the induction date plus that period, and status is worked out live against today: current, expiring soon (within 30 days), or expired.

Is this a substitute for a proper site induction or health & safety process?

No. This is a record-keeping tool for tracking who has been inducted and when their induction expires - it does not verify the induction itself covered the right content, was delivered competently, or satisfies your legal/contractual site-safety obligations, and it is not a substitute for a proper site induction process or health & safety management system.

Does my Site Induction Tracker account work with Vector and Forma?

Yes - Site Induction Tracker uses the same shared Metre2 account as Vector, Forma and every other Keystone app. Sign in once and it works everywhere.

Can I export or share the register?

Yes - copy a plain-text summary to your clipboard, or export a standalone HTML file with totals and the per-site breakdown.

Does this track recurring events or a one-off record?

It tracks a one-off compliance record per person per site - the induction itself, and when it expires and needs renewing.
