Worldwide plant hire tracker
Track hired plant and equipment costs, return dates and overdue charges - a hire timeline shows every item's on-hire, returned and overdue status at a glance, so nothing sits forgotten and racking up charges.
The Hires tab's hire record and timeline, the Overdue tab's cost-tracked overdue list, and the Suppliers tab's spend breakdown in dark mode.
Hires tab - hire record and timeline
Overdue tab - days overdue and running cost
Suppliers tab - spend by supplier (dark mode)
One bar per hire, spanning start date to return date - still on hire, returned on time, or overdue with a clear extra segment showing exactly how far past due it is.
The Overdue tab lists every item past its due-back date with days overdue and the running cost accrued so far - so you know exactly what an overdue return is costing.
Item, supplier, hire date, due-back date, actual return date, and a daily or weekly rate - add as many hires as you're tracking, with live running cost per row.
See hire count, on-hire count and total cost for every supplier - useful for spotting which hire company is costing the most, or which items are still outstanding.
Cost is charged per whole day or whole week, inclusive of the first day - the same billing shape most plant hire suppliers actually use.
Copy a plain-text summary or export it as a standalone HTML file. Light/dark theme remembers your choice, and rotating sample hires let you explore the app.

Plant Hire Tracker is a Windows desktop app, free to try from the Microsoft Store.
Yes - Plant Hire Tracker uses the same shared Metre2 account as Vector, Forma and every other Keystone app. Sign in once and it works everywhere.
An item counts as overdue once today is past its due-back date and it hasn't been marked returned. The Overdue tab lists every overdue item with days overdue and the running cost accrued so far.
Cost is charged per whole day (or per whole week for weekly-rate items), inclusive of the hire's first day, using today's date until an item is marked returned. It's a running estimate, not an invoice - always confirm final charges with your hire supplier.
