Performance Review & 1:1 Notes Tracker

Log 1:1 and review notes, goals and next-review dates per staff member, so nothing said in a review gets forgotten by the next one - with an auto-suggested next review date so nobody quietly falls off the schedule.

Metre2 Performance Review & 1:1 Notes Tracker's Dashboard tab showing active employees, reviews due in 14 days, overdue reviews, open goals, a reviews-due-soon list and recent activity feed

A running log per employee

Every 1:1, quarterly review, annual review, probation review or ad-hoc chat is logged against the employee it was with - notes, talking points and a next review date, all in one place instead of scattered emails and paper notebooks.

Auto-suggested next review date

Set a review cadence once in Settings - 90 days by default - and the next-review-date field fills itself in whenever you log a new review, so a consistent rhythm happens by default rather than by memory.

Goals tied to the review they came from

Add a goal in the same step as logging a review, linked to that employee and that conversation, or add one independently. Track each through Not started, In progress, Done or Dropped.

Reviews due soon, and overdue, on the Dashboard

Every active employee's next review date is ranked soonest-or-most-overdue first, so a manager can see at a glance who's due a conversation and who's already slipped past it.

A recent activity feed

Every review logged and every goal added or completed shows up in one chronological feed on the Dashboard, so it's easy to see what's happened across the whole team recently.

CSV export

Export employees, reviews or goals to CSV for a spreadsheet, payroll system or a wider HR process - the data is never locked in.

Deliberately narrow scope

This is a notes-and-dates tool, not a ratings, calibration or compensation system - it keeps a clear record of what was discussed and when the next conversation is due, nothing more.

Light/dark theme

Light/dark theme remembers your choice, matching the rest of the Metre2 portfolio.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything to use Performance Review & 1:1 Notes Tracker?

Performance Review & 1:1 Notes Tracker is a Windows desktop app, free to try from the Microsoft Store.

Does my Performance Review & 1:1 Notes Tracker account work with Vector and Forma?

Yes - Performance Review & 1:1 Notes Tracker uses the same shared Metre2 account as Vector, Forma and every other Keystone app. Sign in once and it works everywhere.

How does the next-review-date suggestion work?

Set a review cadence in days (90 by default) in Settings. When you log a review and pick a date, the next review date field is auto-filled that many days ahead - you can still overwrite it for any individual employee.

Can I track goals that come out of a review?

Yes - when logging a review you can add a goal in the same step, linked to that employee and that review. Goals can also be added independently and tracked through Not started, In progress, Done or Dropped.

Does this handle formal HR performance ratings or pay decisions?

No. This is deliberately a notes-and-dates tool, not a ratings, calibration or compensation system - it keeps a record of what was discussed, what was agreed, and when the next conversation is due.

What happens if I don't log a review on time?

The Dashboard's "Reviews due soon" list flags any employee whose next review date has passed as overdue, and anyone due within 14 days as due soon, so nothing quietly slips.
