Converts a quote into another currency at a rate you enter yourself, stamped with the date that rate is "as of" - for quoting overseas clients without relying on a live market feed. Once that rate goes stale, the snapshot tells you.

Type in the exchange rate you're quoting at and the date it's "as of" - the app never fetches a live market rate, so what you see is exactly what you entered.
Once a snapshot's rate is older than your staleness threshold (30 days by default), it's flagged red on the Dashboard and in the table - an honest nudge to recheck the rate before reusing an old quote.
Each snapshot keeps the base amount, base currency, target currency, rate and rate date together - a defensible record of exactly what was quoted and when.
The converted amount updates as you enter the base amount and rate, so you can see the result before saving the snapshot.
Every snapshot's on the Snapshots tab too, searchable by description or client, sortable on any column, and filterable to a single currency pair.
Export the full snapshot list to CSV any time - for a backup, a spreadsheet pivot, or handing a record of quoted rates to your bookkeeper or accountant.

No. It is deliberately not a live-FX tool - you enter the rate yourself, along with the date it's "as of", and the app converts the amount and stamps it with that date. There is no external rate API dependency.
Because the rate is entered manually rather than fetched live, a saved snapshot can go out of date. Once a snapshot's rate is older than the staleness threshold you set in Settings (30 days by default), it's flagged Stale on the Dashboard and in the Snapshots table, as a prompt to check for a current rate before quoting from it again.
It's a Windows desktop app. It is not yet available on the Microsoft Store - a Store listing is planned, but for now the app is built and ready ahead of submission.
