PDF Flatten makes each page permanent, the way it looks: hidden layers are taken out of the file, markups and form fields are drawn in for good. Your originals are never changed.

Settings

What flattening does

Content on layers that are switched off is removed from the file, not just hidden. Layers that are on are merged into the page. Markups and filled-in form fields are drawn into the page, so nobody can move, edit or delete them. Links keep working. Text stays selectable and lines stay sharp.

Password-protected PDFs open when you type the password; the flattened copy is saved without one. Type pages (for example 1-3, 5) to flatten only those. “Make it smaller” compresses each file afterwards without turning anything into a picture.

Save as a preset

Saves the layer and markup choices, clean for issue, the stamp and the file name ending, so you can use them again in one click.
