Map tiles are free OpenStreetMap tiles, and address search uses the free Nominatim geocoder - both live network calls made from the page itself. Every location and ring you save persists only on this device via localStorage, with no server round-trip. Preset rings (Walk/Cycle/Drive) are rough planning estimates only, based on flat average speeds of 5 km/h walking, 15 km/h cycling and 30 km/h driving in a straight line from the address - not a routed, real-world travel time. For an accurate catchment or admissions boundary, always check the relevant local authority or school directly.
