Download all events as a standard .ics file compatible with Outlook, Google Calendar, and Apple Calendar.
Import events from a .ics file. Existing events are kept.
Keep an Outlook, Google or Apple calendar showing here and up to date, instead of importing a copy once.
See your Outlook, Google or Apple calendar next to your own events. Linked calendars are read-only here and update every 30 minutes.
Want bank holidays for Scotland, Northern Ireland or Ireland, or the clock changes? Calendar subscriptions (Calendar Pro) has them ready to add.
One linked calendar is free. Link more with Calendar Pro.
Outlook / Microsoft 365: in Outlook on the web, open Settings → Calendar → Shared calendars → Publish a calendar. Choose the calendar and "Can view all details", click Publish, then copy the ICS link.
Google Calendar: open Settings, click your calendar under "Settings for my calendars", then Integrate calendar → copy "Secret address in iCal format".
Apple iCloud: in Calendar, share the calendar as a Public Calendar and copy the link (it starts webcal://).
Keep the address private - anyone who has it can see that calendar. It stays on this device and isn't synced. In the Windows app Calendar fetches it straight from your PC; in the browser it goes through Metre2's server to fetch the calendar and is never stored there.
Click a template to open a pre-filled new event. Create templates by filling in an event form and clicking Save as template.
Export day notes for a date range as a formatted HTML document you can print or save as PDF.
Drafts a status-update email from this week's notes and events, entirely on-device — nothing leaves this computer. Review and edit before sending; nothing is sent automatically.
Your professional scheduling tool — five views, multiple calendars, full recurrence, drag-to-reschedule, and more.
Ready-made calendars to show next to your own events, read-only. Those from a public feed update every 30 minutes; the others are worked out by Calendar itself.
England and Wales bank holidays are already built in. The UK feeds are published by GOV.UK under the Open Government Licence. Irish public holidays and UK clock changes are worked out by Calendar from the rules. To add any other calendar, use Link a calendar.
Saves every calendar, event, day note, template, category, linked calendar and your settings in one file (.json). Keep it somewhere safe - it has your linked calendars' private addresses in it.
Open a Calendar backup file. You'll see what's in it before anything changes, and Calendar saves a copy of what you have now first.
Backups are saved through Windows' Downloads, like any export. Automatic backups to a folder of your choice aren't possible yet; turn on the weekly reminder instead.
